You can include protein in your meals through special shakes, soups, and pudding.
Whatever your meals consist of, make sure your meals are small. You might want to divide your intake into six small meals daily, to avoid overloading your stomach. Don t forget to continue to drink water in between meals.
After your first three months are complete, you more than likely will be able to progress to eating regular foods again, providing you haven t had any complications. Limit meals to three small ones per day with the addition of three small snacks. Continue to focus on healthy options like lean protein, fruits, and vegetables. Be sure your calorie intake does not exceed 1000-1200 per day so that you continue to lose weight. Stay away from sugary or fattening foods that won t provide your healing body with the nutrients it needs.
